the difference (mainly) is that Canon AF motors are in the lens whereas Nikons are in the camera body, the Canons focus faster

looking like a Canon 60D I think

I had a Canon 450d 2 years ago but sold it cos i wanted to try a Fuji, big mistake

very rough

brim the tank, zero the trip

next time you fill up record the ltrs and the miles covered before you zero it again

then use this

http://www.torquecars.com/tools/uk-mpg-calculator.php

or get the smartphone app

if you dont know your correct MPG you know jack sh*t

ho, iv'e got 105BHP and 250NM of torque, but in saying that the 170 has 350NM so the difference there is huge, but my last car a 1.9TDI PD 2008/57 plate Octavia classic still had 105bhp but it only had 240NM of torque, where as the 1.6TDI CR has 250 but i think the difference in CR AND PD make that difference and oh boy the CR is so quiet compared to the PD vw engines, and the smoothness is also a bonus
