if you suffer a DMF failure remember there is a superior option, in that most manufacturers fit a LUK made DMF, not the better planetary type made by Sachs (no, not him off fawlty towers, nor off that variety show)

a little dearer but hey, its your livivng and its all tax deductable

We've started to use another flywheel which we get from Nottingham, the price is £300 cheaper than an Auto Factors charge. I can't remember the name I'll dig it out later.

Mr Clutch will fit a DMF+clutch (3pcs) for £850 (ish) but thats a LUK flywheel, the same as Fraud fit as OEM

Sachs DMFs are a superior design and build quality

I wouldn't touch Mr Clutch again if they were the last place on earth. they fitted a clutch in my vectra and my 406. Both lasted less than 10,000 miles. They did replace them under warrenty but the 406 cluth had to be replaced again after less than 10,000 miles (no warrenty).

im waiting confirmation but seems they are £299* inc vat and delivery, which, if you want 1 that lasts, isnt much more than paying £199 for the LUK version, considering you have to change the clutch every time an dthe CSC, if you have good captive spanner lads you may not notice much extra cost, im pricing up a good clutch too, Borg and Beck, etc.

time to ring all my old mates....the ones with trade discounts.....lol

* DMF alone, 3pc clutch extra
