Post subject:  new (ish) kid on the block

I see The Taxi Centre are promoting the Seat Toledo as the next great cab, as its a VAG product (Octavia/Superb/VW passat) under the skin I assume it cant be all bad...

anyone?

Its actually the new Octavia thats due out later in the year, all be it with different body panels, but cheaper???? allegedly the warranty is better also, as allegedly its a 3 year unlimited mileage one, Skoda only do 3 years or 60K

Seat appear to be the car of choice for taxi drivers in Spain, and I've always said if you want to know what's a decent motor have a look what taxis use.

I don't think the Spanish version comes with an accelerator pedal fitted though, just an on/off switch as they always seem to drive at full throttle or no throttle at all ! :badgrin:

think its meant to be on size with the Octavia never seen a Seat taxi up here there all Skoda's, Citroen,vauxhall,ford, but most of them are Octavia's a few superb's and a few berlingo's and euro buses and London hacks
