The rear wash had stopped working, so today I investigated...the pump could be heard running and I found screen wash running out of the battery box under the vehicle. This is what I found.
The white pipe had become detached from the black pipe and each time the switch was activated, fluid was running down the footwell into the battery box. My guess is the rear nwash was used under frozen conditions and back pressure caused the pipe to pop off. Not ssure I like the idea of the washer pipe being strapped in with all those wires though.
So if your rear washer packs in and its freezing out this may be the cause.
