Yes. But we do not have a choice in London.
Don't mention Metrocab. I went passed their place in Park Royal. It was shut.

I got onto Birmingham Taxi Warehouse for a Metrocab brochure when they first started making them again and was told the brochures hadn't been printed. The salesman emailed me saying they'd let me know when they had the brochures. I still haven't heard from him. They obviously aren't serious about selling them.

From what I read. Metrocab were or are only making manual gearbox cabs. Who in their right mind would want to drive them in London?

Ah! but have you ever driven a manual for a few years in todays London's traffic?
I did. When I changed to an auto, all the pains in my left side, leg, and arm vanished quite quickly.

I started in a manual FX4 R, it had covered 320'000!

Now that was an interesting cab to drive. . . . . . . when it was working?

Remember that quality Rover engine?

The British Leyland 'Blue engine' was the best that was made for cabs. I had one in my FX4. Auto of course.

If the auto box goes wrong what is the average cost of repair, or a replacement one, and what cc is the Toyota engine in the metro TTT and is this the engine fitted to the most up to date model, and are there any problems with it.
