Has anyone clocked up over 150.000miles and how's the auto been have you had any problems with it. I know the E7 has its problems as I have had two. Just thinking of getting a auto next time. I'm getting about 38mpg from my manual what is the real mpg for the auto not what its says in the book but what we as taxi drivers get in the real world. Not rolling road figures. Hope you can share this information with me it would be helpful before I sign on that 5year dotted line

Bought the first one in 2012, great, 6 speed auto with manual option, a 100 miles is roughly £16 based on current fuel price, hope that helps

Hi Reggie.
Any particular reason you opted for the manual over the auto.
Im going to cab direct on Tuesday. Thinking of the auto also is it worth the extra for lwb.
What price did you get yours for and where.
Thanks
Tony

Apologies for not getting back Tone, I went for the Manual because I got bored of the Auto, 12 years, I wanted a change, it's also cheaper on the fuel by roughly 5p per mile, there was also the issue with the Auto of the so called intermittent fault that caused the auto box to stick in 3rd, comes up gearbox faulty, the problem clears by switching off for 10 or so minutes and when you go and try do something about it, they say they don't actually know what the fault is, the fault though is in the vehicle manual, I think page 42, anyway the Auto is a great drive but I'm happier with the manual, hope this helps.
