I have a friendly engineering company and they make me a bracket to suit whichever car. If you use tape it can be a pig to get off when you need to change the plate or sell the car.

Most of the brackets are adjustable.

got it on double sided for about year and a half. washed often on an automatic car wash, never fell down. just clean bumper or wherever you want it with white spirit to remove grease. when you want to remove it just break it off and clean the glue stains and leftovers with... white spirit...
