Post subject:  Fairway upgrade problems

After a bit of mechanical help........

I am currently upgrading the front cross-member on my 1990 fairway to a donor cross-member from a later (96/97) fairway driver, this gives me better suspension and the upgrade to disc brakes. Has anyone else done anything like this before? Any idea what other pieces / parts i might need to upgrade?

Already looking at the brake compensator valve (does anybody know the manufacturer / part number).
Do i need different steering arms? The ones that came with the cross-member look too long.

Anything else i might need?

Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Before you go changing anything... what engine is in your fairway and does it have power-assisted steering..
