Just bought a 2015 tx4 and im new to these so dont know much about them.

The electric mirrors dont work
The front heater blower doesn't work on any setting
The dab radio doesn't come on and the intercom doesn't seem to come on

Rear passenger window isnt working but can hear relay clicking.

It has an egr code keeps coming up as well. Ive cleared it and it drove 200 miles and didnt come back but then while It was idling it came back. Any ideas?

If anyone can help me with where to start looking.

Stating the obvious but check the fuses and fusebox wiring for any add-ons/bodged alterations.

The NSR door switches can sometimes over-ride the dash switches (intercom and radio).

If the DPF light is on steady, you probably need an LTI computer to clear it.

EGR valves love sitting on tickover, is it running rich? consider removal and cleaning or replacing or, in some cases, blanking it off

what engine is it?

if you have a DPF thats next

Hi ive managed to fix the electrical gremlins.

The egr is coming on intermittent but mainly when idling then can clear the fault and it can drive for an hour or so with no light and it comes back.

It is a 2015 lti tx4 with the vm engine 2.5 diesel

I think it has a pressure sensor as there is one with 2 pipes coming from it and one pipe goes to the egr and the other pipe is not connected to anything.


The other fault ive experienced is the steering wheel you can pull it towards you and push it back. Only about an inch but it still moves. Ive replaced everyrhing on the front end. Springs, shocks, tractors, bushes etc so there all new. If you get someone to pull the steering wheel as described and look above the clutch pedal as it is a manual you can see it moving but it is all bolted tight.

I wanting to take it for its taxi test but the egr light coming on will probably fail it. Could it be a faulty pressure sensor?

Any help appreciated as im new to these tx4 as ive never had one before

How do I find Mr T?

Ive managed to buy a remapped ecu which will turn off the egr.

The problem im having now is the aircon isnt working. The button lights up, it is fully charged, fuse is ok, relay clicks if I pull it out. Any ideas?

Also the back vents where customers sit can feel the blowers only when aircon button is on but never get warm air out of them back vents only from the The heater below the seat on the floor

The four round vents on the rear partition only put air out when the aircon is running.

Aircon will only run when the front (driver's) fan is also on.

This might explain the aircon problem - it won't run if the front blower is off.

So does aircon only work in the back? As when I push the aircon button im not noticing it getting any colder. Ive checked the gas and its full. Checked fuses and relays and they are all ok.

Over all all the stuff ive mentioned i have now managed to fix except this aircon problem.

And I also now need a new centre prop bearing but guessing its easier to just replace the while prop being a manual gearbox

Aircon goes from the front to the back via the four round vents. If the front blower is off, aircon compressor shuts down.

The back blower is water-fed and separate from aircon. It can run with the front blower on or off.
