My button for locking all the doors from inside situated on my steering column works fine, but the footbrake only locks the front drivers door and the front passenger door - my rear two doors are not locking (runners)

Does anyone know the cause of the rear doors not locking?

I would suggest dodgy conversion chip/CPU.

Get someone like a meter man to check the power to the rear locks.

Bit strange that!!! what's the point of the footbrake locking the drivers door?

Are E7's that bad you're likely to do a runner from your own car.

It is very handy if some num num decides he wants to get at you from the outside - or if you have a passenger in the front with you and they want to get out without paying - and they say the Welsh are dull

Oooh, that's unusual, brakes normally just lock internal handles, is this how all the euro's operate?

If it's under warranty get them to fix it. Failing that under your foot brake there is a switch, try taking that out and replacing it will only cost you £6 if it works it's a cheap fix if it doesn't then you've lost nothing.

Post subject:  hi ....

I have a new E7, question: are you locking the doors with the driver isolation switch? because when I do that my back doors:; if they where locked. they re-open so you need to relock them. the red light on right hand side of dash idicates doors locked from outside only. press the child saftey lock which is yellow above it. if problems persist contact cab direct and ask them for a motor electrician,in your area ( Aurther or sarah in customer service's ).
