well it was a pure accident in a country lane, but aside of that, the original bumper was just popped back on

the driver rang up his owner to complain he thought 240 quid was too much for less than an hours work of popping the bumper back on

the story ends with the owner telling him its really only 20 quid as he was winding him up

a new bumper was fitted a number of months ago due to a rear ender by another vehicle, one of the nut and bolts at one side must not have been properly tightened and vibration had caused the nut to come off

one of the rental drivers caught his rear bumper of his TX3 on a high grass verge and off came the bumper the owner of the vehicle promptly got the bumper fitted back on by taking the vehicle 25 miles away to Mann & Overton Leeds the driver was billed 240 quid, i find that over the top how is the bumper held on to the vehicle anyone know, it is known that the repair took around less than an hour, plus an hour each way for the owner to travel the 25 miles and back, but i dont think thats in the charge, the travel time the driver has to pay this repair but as self employed he gets no bill or receipt to put against his own accounts

no reciept? no pay. simple. If the owner wont give him the reciept it is because A. The repair cost less and he is getting ripped off. or B. The owner is claiming the repair against tax and not declaring the payment from his driver. or both If he pays, tell him to pay by cheque and write on the stub what it is for
