btw chipper if you fail to see the point.
it kinda proves that you dont have a head for business.
its about profit nothing more.
its not about all standing together in some sort of psuedo socialst/union struggle
i think youre getting a tad mixed up with working rights and good business practice

your the man ALI maybe you should apply :?: :?: :?: :?:

this sounds just like you
As usual, he will be looking for someone ‘drop dead shrewd’ – someone with some business experience and obvious real potential, a leader with a wide range of skills, who is creative, sparky and bright.

Well Chip, did you miss this?

Don’t tell me you have bought into this exalted status crape just because you’ve passed your brief Chipper?

I can’t help but get the feeling that your self-esteem has shot up through the roof and now you want to become part of the super cabby mindset.

Taking on the group belief system is not thinking for yourself Chipper. If anything it is exactly the opposite. You might want to belong to some group and become popular amongst your peers but trust me, you are only following the sheep to the slaughter.

Don’t go there chip, stay strong.

When did you pass your brief Chip?

Me thinks Chip, is no longer a Ph

This is what can happen when your knowledge test is that easy.

How anyone could fail the Edinburgh Knowledge test is beyond me, but once they pass it goes straight to their heads. What an achievement

I think if we raised the bar somewhat we wouldn't have the ers*holes running the trade that we do now .. .. :D

Ali
it was a joke pure and simple thought you might see the funny side of it.

were going round and round in circles here boys so one last time -

skull
i agree the system is wrong and it should change there is more than just the plate issue that is wrong in edinburgh IMO and i dont buy in to anything or agree with the pack out there i form my own opinions on things and one thing is for sure the streets are full of guys who think they know it all and know he haw as they make no effort to find out how the rules work or how to play them to your benefit its quite funny at times and dont worrie i intend to stay strong .
tell you the truth i look out for number 1 if you dont you are finished out there as there is a wind of change on its way and most out there dont see it coming and iam not talking about the court case either

ALI i just think it was a waste of time getting the plate and then selling it i understand you reasons and i may not agree with them but thats life if we all agreed with each other all the time life would be dull.

The main reasons for the six plates Ali was the council did not reply in the time period they were supposed to.....FACT
Anything else i tell you will all be lies anyway..
The only fool is you Ali but as i said,"your hardly going to admit it are you"
You jumped what you thought was a sinking ship and if you got your plate for nothing what did you have to lose.
Now as i keep saying,"you will be back on the road soon and contributing to us real business mens lifestyle".
Btw the new owner of plate 1266 doesn't remember being told to apply rather than buy,is this yet another little lie Ali

yep as i thought a blustering idiot

1 the council didnt reply to what exactly saf ??????(i said you didnt have to go into to much detail but ffs you said bugger all, wich means you know bugger and understand even less)

2 plate 1266 mmmm not mine never has been (ffs you cant even get that right, and its taken you days to come up with it)

i dont even think youre a taxi driver saf
saf the guy that knows pi ss all about whats going on.
so whats his motives.????
at one point you alleged that you knew me at least in an informal way.
its quite clear youre just a big fat lier saf.
complete uninformed bull from a complete gobsh ite.
thanks for helping me prove what we all knew
i set you a task saf it was a very simple one,its all in the public domian its all out thier on the grapevine and you come back with this bull.
what a plonker

Ali, the time scale to deny your applications thats why,FACT
As for plate number 1266 that should have been 1276,we all make mistakes Ali don't we
It's just some of us make bigger mistakes than others, you know like £52k
if you held your bottle that little bit longer you could have had at least £60k
Ali,we all know super Ali,the guy with the high morals and the wannabe hero of the Edinburgh taxi trade.
The "servile scum" from upper Durham or is that Niddrie :D :D
The same guy that made his own rules up like the smoking ban doesn't include me because i'm super Ali
The same guy that used to sit on the no waiting area at the airport because he's super Ali
The same guy that lies through his teeth and forgets what he has said in the past and continues to trip himself up
I have been in the trade that long Ali,i've forgotten more than you can remember.
So yes we all know super Ali,how could we not
Proof once again for you to be that liar we all know you are Ali,to repeat, plate 1276 does not recall you saying to "apply rather than buy" now what a surprise

it doesnt surprise me in the least that plate 1266 or 1276 doesnt recall me saying that to them becouse niether of them know me,you see i had plate 1278
and why the mix up you claim to have at least set youre eyes upon me so you should know my number no?
funny thing is saf you claim to have asked them but surley it would have been apparent that they did not buy from me,or did you forget to ask if they bought from me,or did you ask them at all, which seems to be the conclusion that the evidence is pointing to.

more bluster and guess work if you ask me.

right saf since you have no idea ill put you straight

the council have six months to come to a decision on an application.
now they knew that we knew that they had no evidence of unmet demand that would stand up in court, and they knew that if they denied the aplications, that they would have fallen foul of the coyle and dundee cases.
so they applied to the courts to extend the time period allowed under the act, they knew they had no chance with this iether(but at the time they had no other plan except delay)
the courts finally ruled that asking for an extension of the six months should only be done under extreme circumstances,of which this wasnt one.
in fact they went on to say that it came no were near reaching the criteria for an extension.
now can you explain to me how this is a council blooper saf cause i just dont see it.
after all they asked for the extension FACT
had they not asked for the extension and had denied the applications the would have been immediatly granted by a court FACT
in other words saf they had nothing, and if they had followed the law they would have simply had to grant the licences FACT
all they achieved was an extension to the inevitable FACT
and thats all thier doing with the present applications FACT
dont get me wrong im sure thier getting better at it,but the more these cases go into court the narrower the options become as far as putting youre own cynical interpritation of the law,its getting near impossable for them to appear to be reasonable dont you think.

as for the rest of youre nonesence
well i fight for my rights, not youres i fight and make a fuss of all the [edited by admin] politically driven legislation, not for you but for me and my kids ,becouse this country is turning fascist,if they cant get you for one thing they will get you for another.
if you want youre kids to grow up in that kind of society thats fine.but it doesnt rest well with me.
plates will never be worth more than 50k.imo
youre about to see the tide turn im afraid,
i jumped my board on the crest of the wave and landed softly on the beach, and what a lovely beach it is.
any hoo i think its been proven saf that you have little to say,and no understanding of what others say.
and what you dont know youll happily make up.
as i said a blustering fool with a big gob

As i said Ali,"time scale"
Now as far as plate 1266,1276 or plate1278,who cares, all that matters is that he knows that you are saying you told him to "apply rather than buy"and you know that it's just not true Ali
So yes Ali,we all know what you look like, does that not make you feel good ?
You have got the notoriety you always dreamed of Ali its just a shame your just a nobody who wants to be somebody
You will be back in the trade soon Ali,you know it
If you kept your bottle Ali,you wouldn't have had to jump ship and land on the perfect beach, the perfect beach you landed on was the smaller one and have you not realised that the island you landed on is deserted, well apart from the odd nutter. Now if you had stayed on board you would be heading for the bigger and better beach that we are all going to :D :D
£52k a drop in the ocean if you pardon the pun
Btw did i say i spoke to plate 1278,
