The wheels of justice obviously move slow in Guernsey but perverting the course of justice is the crime that brought about the custodial sentence. Operating without a license was obviously an option in 2005 but the authorities responsible for licensing these vehicles preferred to turn a blind a eye. That practice seems to be universal throughout the UK as well as Guernsey.
