bet your bottom dollar,it was a minicab that was "ordered"from that club.
you out of towners, dont believe everything you read. The press down here say taxi, when they really mean horse and cart.
This club wont touch licensed cabs with a barge pole, they have a clip board johnny who only uses minicabs.

You've answered the first post you made quite nicely with the second post Mr Taxicabman.

That's why satellite offices were invented.

'No smoking' signs missing as far as I could see. Are they required on a rickshaw?

There are a lot of things required on a fare paying rickshaw.

Starting with some sort of license. :?

Don't think they are.

The maximum number of sides (out of five including the roof) that a structure can have before No Smoking signs are mandatory is two, usually a roof & one other side panel, walls etc.

The rickshaw only seems to have a roof, so IMO it does not have to have No Smoking signs.

That's why you can't smoke in an enclosed (4 side & a roof) bus shelter, even though it's outside, but in bus shelters with a roof & one side you can.

At least that is how it is in Brum.
