That would send alarm bells ringing with me.

The question I would be asking is, has Dundee Council been approached by HMR&C to provide mileage readings on all licensed vehicles & for the council to cross reference those with each individual driver's tax reference number?

You are only as taxable as your assets.

If you are daft enough to screw the Taxman, and have everything you own in your own name . . . then take what you get . . . .

big bit in the press tonight,10 were put off the road(revoked)several were deffered until nov meeting after hearing different reasons as to why they had no tax number, most of the drivers on the list failed to turn up,also 277 letters were sent out to drivers who had failed to register the correct details, this was out of 1378 drivers, thats just under a quarter of dundees taxi drivers putting in wrong details
