GBC as a fine upstanding member of the human race, who thought the extra`s were a rip off,can we assume that you have reported both the postman, and the garage owner to the HMRC tax fraud hotline?
A yes or no will suffice.
And by the way,if you use a GOOD ACCOUNTANT you should not need the LTDA,specialist tax investigation service.....

Did I say I did needed the investigation unit Mr Salacious?

Sadly not all accountants are as good as my choice, I think the LTDA service is invaluable if that’s the case.
Put it another way, if you do, be sure to tell us all how much help the LCDC gives you.

Why would I report the garage owner? How is he meant to know if his drivers pay the correct amount of tax or not? He complies with the law by entering the rent details, and issuing the receipt.

If any one is in need of a good accountant may I suggest the accountants organising the 2012 games?

The Aquatic Centre (ie swimming pool) was budgeted at £75m.
Now it's up to £303 and rising.
So how do they get round this?

The roof will have steps therefore it's no longer a roof... but a bridge therefore the cost comes out of the infrastructure (ie taxpayers) budget!

I think the guy who thought this up was Paul Daniels..or was it Derren Brown?

'Us' cab drivers? :?

Please don't try to impress others (because you're not) by adding some form of authority angle to your posts, you don't speak for anyone other than yourself, you never will either.

Driving sheite carts? Ring a bell does it?

Anyone in London who has eyes that work can see that on a daily basis, perhaps it's time to get your mincers checked out, you seem to be blind to many of the current issues that are present in the trade.

Overcharging is thankfully at an end, the one thing Livingston got right, no extra's and a decent rate 3. It'll never come back.

The garage owner has been known to me for many years, how do 'I know his business' when he writes down the weekly amounts and issues a receipt?

You were never the brightest button were you Mr An . . . sorry I mean Mr TCM? Image

Crooks are everyone’s business, even ones who openly boast about it.

Back to the button bit. :D

Mr GBC you keep forgetting to put the words "in my opinion"
on your posts because that's all it is your opinion, your on your own.
No one in the London Cab trade supports your views.

Mr taxiCABman, welcome to the club mate, you can speak for me as I agree with your views almost to the letter.

I had scribed a reply, but decided this was a far more appropriate response to your ever more desperate postings:

None whatsoever Mr A, none whatsoever.

Tell us all about the pensioners club and how they deal with tax investigations (when they answer the phone) I'm all ears.

'Get back to you next week' perhaps? :D

GBC ,you are mixing me up with someone else again.
Dont know anything about pensioners clubs,I am to young.
Not bothered by tax investigations,thanks.
I come from a long line of accountant`s,so if the LTDA (members only) tax investigation service lets you down, let me know, I will give you the number of a good accountant.
Sorry about the grammer,it`s hard enough trying to get the spelling right, without worrying about everything else.
Funny,You dont seem to be this bothered about spelling or grammer on the other forums you subscribe to.Any particular reason?
