I don't know but I would think that if no news is forthcoming from the trade, then Mr Browne might be struggling to get funding. I would have thought we would have heard by now. I know some have been asked and refused.

The word now is that he has come this far on his own he is going to see it through the same way, the York Taxi Association has a new secretary who may be willing to listen more than the old one was, apparently he just got fed up of getting the blame for everything and resigned.

I think he could be making a big mistake if he goes it alone. Surely York Council will have hired a barrister who will swallow him up and spit him out. If he loses, the council will go after him for costs. He must seek advice. If people think he going to win, why is nobody helping to bankroll him? I fear this could all end in tears for him

Were the 'trade' going to take the council on before this bloke?

There is always the logical way of looking at this..... by going forward himself his lawyers cannot Fu*k up his case..... and if he does lose... the costs will be half..

If the gentleman had access to the internet I'm sure there would be many on here who would assist him his case.
