Pink taxi proposal for North Lanarkshire

NORTH Lanarkshire Council are investigating a proposal to introduce a women-only taxi service.

It was brought forward by Soroptimist International of Motherwell and Wishaw who have submitted an 88-signature petition to the corporate services committee.

As a way of highlighting the problem of violence against women they want to see "pink Taxis" on the road which would be driven by women for women.

As long as they cook the dinner and do the washing between jobs, good luck to them. :D

My worst nightmare a car full over excited drunken women eusasmiles.zip

Won't do much business if it only got 88 signatures and apart from that it makes it a bit of an easy target for some low life they'll stick out like a sore thumb and everybody who's prepared to try thier luck will know it's driven by a woman. I'm all for ladies being able to request a female driver but to make it as obvious as this may not be as thoughtful as they think

These 'female only' services have come and gone over the years.

They ultimately all end up at the same destination: Failure.

Some folks will never learn, and will always pizz their money up against a wall.

I fail to how they can legally have a Ladies only service, its blatantly 100% Sexual discrimination no matter how you look at it.

We used to have a Saying "whats good for The Goose is good for the Gander", Now it Seems whats good for the Goose is to be Kept for the Goose, which makes me think that the poor old Gander is no longer Fit for purpose..

Are all us men destined to become Pâté de foie gras??

Its the law she must have been booked for blocking the hard shoulder nothing else
Only a man can be charged with indecency something to do with an old members bill
mind you if there is not a public convenience open (not a pub) within 150 yards they cannot charge a man either

You can legally still pee against the off side back wheel of your cab as long as you keep one hand on the vehicle and have a bail of hay in the boot

No she was booked for urinating in a public place. She was a passenger in my car.

Wasn't that woman from Eastenders done for indecency or something for giving a blow job in a car?

The cap used to fit....but when my hair migrated to the floor the cap became somewhat slack which now means if you want a Gander at my head you have to Pop on Sunglasses first....Im Now Dazzling which is a real irony, for after years of trying to dazzle the ladies I tend to do it Inadvertantly these days...8)
