Look at the driver looking behind him as another punter gets into the more comfortable E7
Those Doblos are pig ugly no wonder folk dont want to get in them.
I wonder if the council will have a re-think over an all WAV policy :?:as there is no law as yet that they must

Working on a radio circuit with quite a few WAVs I'm amazed how many people ask not to have a WAV. Which is a bit of a [edited by admin] to those that have spent up to £35,000 on a cab.

Same here, the old ladies dont like the high steps, especially on the van conversions......they dont seem to know the WAV's have steps and the driver is too lazy to get out of the cab and assist.

Maybe its the step they dont like..they have to climb into a WAV (step or no step) rather than the ladies preferred "Bum first then Legs" method of getting into a saloon...

They usually get in my car head first

I know lets of customers who don't like HC's for lots of reasons and I think the policy of all HC's having to be WAV's is a little extreme but what else can they do the minority have dictated to the majority again. Wheelchair users do have to get around and obviously there is no fair solution to this so all HC's have to be WAV's as far as the LA is concerned, who cares about disabled people who can't get into WAV's or regular HC's, not the LA and by all accounts not the disabled groups or the ODI either :?

So who pays the difference between a WAV and Saloon?

A saloon is historically cheaper to run than a WAV (except in the Scottish Borders where for some strange reason it isnt).....who do you tell to buy the WAV and who do you say should buy the saloon?

Like I said there is no fair solution to this. If I had one I would gladly share it :D

The 2 wavs here have the same problem folk wont get in them only large groups, even mother with prams prefer to fold them and use saloons
There was one guy who wanted to get in the front of 1 of them and he is allowed to do so as its an 8 seat Vito but the driver told him to get in the back so he said feck you and got into mine and this was at 11AM
