Whatever happens at the next AGM, and I hope you and your crew are successful in deposing your dictator, you have without a doubt shown your mettle. You are one tenacious little bas*ard. =D>

Feck me, even the arab has shown some pluck

Credit where credit is due

Have fun . . . . :D

Oh and btw, don't be surprised if the rest of the committee rally behind the Fuhrer, with the, "if he goes we all go" nonsense - if you have a cancer cut it out - it's the only way.

I have every admiration for JG. He has developed a new mettle and appears to have rediscovered his leadership ability.

Just a pity he has obvious antipathy for me, judging by his scowls

Can't understand why

Anyway, as one of the voices of common sense on the block, I wish him well.

You've got to hand it the the fasties crew  we are now in support of our enemies.

http://www.fastblacks.com/newforum/inde ... 364.0.html

It looks like they don't like anyone who stands up for what he believes in.

I didn't think the Arab and JG had it in them. It seems they've surprised a few other people as well.

The worms are definitely on the turn.

I would take my hat off to almost anybody who shows the courage of their convictions.

Don't you just love a good rumble

It was a knee jerk reaction to click on the link, honest.

First time on that cesspit site for yonks, I haven't missed anything.

Still the same bairns squawking the same childish rants.

What these numpties can't get into their heads is that we're not the only kids on the block who see what has happened.

All we're supporting is those who see the same problem and want to try to save the situation. And, no one is beyond redemption.

It just surprises me that there are so many who can't see beyond their pathoogical fear and hatred to realise that the ship is sinking.
.
If not now, then very soon later.

All it takes for common sense to prevail is calm and raional thinking. There's none of that on the cesspit.

BTW How delightful that the self-professed homophobe, racist and bigot that is Ross spends time dredging through the cesspit to come up with what he thinks scores a petty point.

Grow up Ross child. And if you believe me to be your, and the trade's bogeyman, you'd better believe it.

Cos the way things are run in the trade just now is fundamentally immoral, based on greed and is detrimental to the interests of drivers and the public, to the point that lassies are getting assaulted and raped because of the trade's greed.

That's why we will ultimately win.

"Jim Taylor, secretary of taxi trade lobby group CABforce, today said there was no need to "tinker" with the current set-up.

He said: "Taxis are readily available in Edinburgh about 95 per cent of the time so we do not believe there is an unmet demand.

"In Edinburgh, we have about as many taxis per head of population as London, where there are no restrictions at the moment."

CABforce also believes that easing the rules would result in hackneys catering for the disabled being replaced with "lowest-common denominator vehicles" such as saloon cars.

Mr Taylor added: "The quality and integrity of the trade will simply diminish."

Bristol deregulated its taxi fleet in 1997 but reintroduced restrictions last year.

The number of hackney cabs jumped from 273 to about 650 during the period, prompting claims that drivers were being forced to work almost around the clock and even overcharge passengers to make ends meet "

You gotta laugh !!

Dug, you bought into believing you were buying a "plate" and a "business" and not just a job.

How wrong you were.

It's a con dug, and guys like you want to keep the scam going until you get a chance to bail out. Not likely me auld son. You will never get the opportunity.
