This particular battle with TB may have been won by their opponents.

But only the stupid, and the naive believe that the war is over.

If they did it in Gateshead would you spare a few coppers?

Whatever one think about the likes of Taxi-Bank, they are no different than other businesses. They tender for something, and if they are successful, they try to make money out of it.

So what's the difference between TB paying the Railways thousands, and the existing HC trade paying the Railways thousands.

Oh, it's the fact that TB will allow any local HC driver ply at the station, whereas the existing station HC trade, wish to keep others out.

Yes it's those other drivers that they chat to and laugh with at the other ranks, but if they want to share the spoils at the stations, oh no, the lowest form of life then.

No wonder the HC trade is split from head to toe !!!!!!!

Just to confirm how the taxis game is split you only have to read the spats between the lads at the NTA, and old frizzy from SCATA, in taxi talk.
I think they both think they are the best, but fighting one another will prove neither of them is right.

Yes thanks. Gave me two jobs that were over £100 each last week.

Only problem is the time I have to wait for the money.

Too long SM. But the delayed is built into the price.

And as for the meters, didn't have to talk to one person this week. But I did have a customer accuse a driver of travelling at speeds in excess of 90mph, I had the evidence to prove to the customer that they were exagerating.
