Sussex i am happy i have a beautiful wife and two wonderful daughters Rebecca 8 and Gemma 4 but i am finding it hard to provide for them in this current climate.
I have no other trade so i feel i am stuck in this Trade .I hope you would agree that there is a significant change in earnings in the last few years.
Apart from a down turn in earnings i suppose the job is not that bad
I have another 23 three years before i can retire (that's if i make it that long) so you can maybe see why i am not that optimistic

Stationtone,
Dont get to down, it was hard during the last recession when interest rates were at 15% and many went to the wall, which may happen to a few more yet if this one is anything to go by. I would think most are finding it tough at present including myself. Ya just have to reign back, cut down on the luxuries and stick it out..... The plus side may be that it might thin out the ranks of riff raff and those who don't take an interest in the trade.
We are beginning to see a few cracking up and faces here disappearing and they are the ones who treat the trade and its punters with disrespect, who got greedy and didn't put enough aside for rainy days.....
