Asian cabbies and PH drivers in the peterborough area are threatening to take the law into their own hands after racist abuse was hurled at several drivers at the taxi rank in Stamford in a row over drivers not pulling forward on the rank

Whilst no specific threat has been made against the drivers involved it has been made clear to me by one peterbotrough based driver that there are plans afoot to punish at least one non Asian Stamford driver in retaliation

Watch this space

They need to all get off their high horses and go through the proper channels. Be that the council or the police.

Vigilantly behaviour will makes matters a lot worse.

Contrary to Hackney Carriage bye-laws, so WTF do these 'chip-on-the-shoulder' idiots expect!!!

They are the one that should be in front of the Licensing Committe for transgression of the bye-laws.

Instead it's everyone elses fault but their's.

We sometimes get this problem so politely remind these drivers of their responsibility and respect for other drivers including the byelaws...... they usually comply but grudgingly so....
