Anyone used the new drop off parking yet? and just how far away from the Terminal Building is it....or is it best just to bite the bullet and pay a quid to drop off where the free drop off used to be?

I use it twice a week its the same car park, but instead of getting a ticket on the way in just drive up to the barrier and it opens, then you bung a quid in a bin on the way out.
My fare has said they will now meet me at the shell garage as its only 50 yards further

Cant they stretch to an Extra Quid Skip?

Peasants like Pheasants can but shouldnt fly... :?

My client can they own a diamond company, I take there nanny to and from the Geordie building

Thats Nanny neglect...them and their Millions and nanny wearing her legs out..poor wee mite

Brum Airport has this system now & it works very well.

No more PH waiting for 'booked fares'

Now they wait outside the airport until their passengers phone them to say they are ready to be picked up.

I go into the multi-storey car park 1 and park there for upto 3 hours for £1.50. Simples.

at Newcastle airport?

The quote that I reffered to mentions Birmingham airport.

And the private cars that previosly waited & clogged up the road system do the same & the roads are now free for public transport to use without delays.

.

yeah right thats why every single space in the car park is full of hire cars and theres no room to drop off or pick up and a massive queue to get in because all the PH and private cars are picking up and loading up just in front of the entrance blocking it it would work if was policed but it is a total disaster the one at Luton works much better even though it is a third of the size

I have not had a problem finding a space to drop off at Birmingham airport since the £1 charge was implemented. I have not had to queue for more than a couple of cars at any time. Most times that I have been there, there have been either police or Community officers standing by the crossing to make sure that no one drops off or picks up on the road.
