Case imminent.

Now that the merger is dead in the water, anyone bet against the cases being remitted back to the council and the licences granted?

What was the outcome of the Merger meeting today then Jim?
If it is 'Dead in the Water' as you say how then will the appeal licences be granted by the Council?

No merger for now. The groom is willing, the rich bridesmaid is shy.

The council's response seems to be to suggest that the appellant should have sought a judicial review of the council's process.

The appellant rightly appealed on the grounds specified in the CGSA.

The council's position is a stretch. We believe it is a ruse and that it is going to ask for the cases to be referred back to the committee, claiming its acknowledgement of an error of process, the inference being a grant.

This would mean the council giving up a number of licences.

It is understood that the council believes it can get away with this ruse because it has prepared the ground by getting its TLO to come up with a demand.

It takes a 35 licence hit, problem solved.

However, the problem now is that the council's actions are so far off the wall, it is so clear that the council is manipulating the whoie process outwith the terms and spirit of the a its actions are clearly criminal.

They do the above and their isn't another licence application made at the same time, or the cases previously sisted, or any licence application made now that wouldn't be granted by a court.

And all of this is being manipulated by the scumbag Cllr Colin Keir, Scottish Nasty Party, who is abusing his political position to achieve this.

Interesting times. We've watched. We've waited.
Watch his space.
