A SUSPECTED illegal mini cab driver from Tottenham has been charged with raping a woman earlier this year.

Nihat Caliskan, of Saltram Close, is accused of attacking the 38-year-old woman in Hammersmith and Fulham in April.

He is alleged to have been driving an unlicensed cab at the time of the alleged rape.

The 39-year-old appeared at West London Magistrates Court on Monday, November 22, and was remanded in custody until a hearing at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday, November 30.
