Besides Addison Lee keep a lot of car wash places around London in employment as they take out contracts with them to get their cars washed, and the one I use near Heathrow (5 mins from T1-3) has an Addison Lee contract, and because of the amount of AL driver's there using the car wash (lots!), they've also got a cafe (a good one as well - and it can be busy in there),toilets, and parking which I'm free to use whenever I'm waiting for a job at the airport.


Don't be silly he is doing it all wrong - he has several thousand drivers all earning nothing (it's why they stay :lol: ) He has the largest coach fleet in London (since buying Redwing).

It's called JEALOUSY - all the black cab trade can do in a desperate attempt to hang on to their closed shop is to make racist comments about drivers who supposedly cannot speak English and rely totally on Sat Nav.

Answer me this - why is he doing so well - if he is so much more expensive and the drivers so useless why do all those corporate lemmings use his services - puzzling isn't it?

With a combined turnover of £180m I really think he should listen to the Black Cab Trade and give up - he is wasting his time trying to be successful :lol:

I have met him - is he a nice person - not really I found him arrogant to be honest. However what really successful businessmen are nice, pleasant individuals?

That's because you work for him Blobby, I wouldn't expect anything less from yourself, the original John Griffen fan Club founder member. :D

Griffin's a slave driver, and as long as you have high unemployment, and mugs from Poland and Africa thinking they're onto £800 a week, then of course he'll have drivers.

But we both know staff turnover is high, and when unemployment goes down, he has to resort to paying people £25 to attend 'recruitment days'. If they were that good, drivers would be queueing at the door regardless.

Half the students at Knowledge Point are Addison Lee drivers. Why?

Because if I worked the hours Griffen made his slaves work, I'd only work 5 months in a year.

Because they want to earn more money.

However I would imagine the best way to do the knowledge is to get paid whilst studying.
