After reading some of Dougie's posts, I think it fair to ask, after all he is transporting members of the public without the protection of CCTV.

I personally think that Dougie, should be Locked up for his own, and the publics' safety.

Is Dougie Smith, a man on the edge or just a harmless idiot?

Your probably right skull. In a less enlightened age, he'd be wearing a well fitting jacket with wrap around sleeves and residing in a nice soft, comfy room somewhere

You're only saying that because Dougie's your pal.

Would you allow Dougie to pick up members of your family after what you've witnessed him writing on this forum? At the very least he's delusional, and probably completely barking.

A Derek Bird, in waiting perhaps?

The only thing you can be certain of is that he's mad, the question is, how mad?

Well there you have it, but it has to be said, possibly one of Dougie's more lucid moments. Scary, the bit about four sons and a daughter though, makes you wonder if old Adolph, would have ever let it happen. I've never been an advocate of eugenics, but it might have its uses.
:)

I wonder if inbreeding has anything to do with Dougie's instability and delusional tendencies. Was it nature or nurture, that turned Dougie into a nutter?

The fact that Derrek Bird was nuts, wasn't up for debate, just like our man Dougie. However, what the trigger will be to set Dougie off, is anyone's guess, de-restriction maybe? Will he simply go for a swan dive of the North Bridge or will it be murder on a grand scale?

You never know with these guys CC. That's why they're nuts.

The thought of Dougie's genetic characteristics cascading down the gene pool should scare us all.

It's long been recognised that genetics throws off variations, some of which are in practice unsustainable. The purpose is to push development of the species to the limit through the survival of the strongest chracteristics contained in dominant genes.

It's entirely likely that Dougie's genetic codes will be discarded and the species will survive this throwback to the less mentally developed Homo Erectus.

The Human Race will hopefully develop around this blip on the intellectual deficit ladder. Perhaps even Mrs Ferret's genes will have done the job for us and rectified Dougie's genetic deficit in their offspring.

Let's hope so, eh.

Meanwhle, wouldn't a wee tattoo on his forehead serve to warn us all and ensure public safety?

Or the Inglourious Basterd's artwork created with the "Bowie" type surgical implement?

my thoughts obviously went over your head

I dont suppose you've been to West Cumbria and spoken to the drivers there have you?

I dont believe Bird was nuts, I believe he was driven to a state of mind, temporary insanity whatever........there's also accounts of Bird committing suicide with 4 shots.

Now even accounting for checking his weapon......considering his marksmanship in the hours previous.....I'd say if the accounts are correct......then it wouldn't have taken him that many shots to kill himself.

I digress, I could be polite and say 'if your suggesting' but , you ain't suggesting, your stating Dougie is a fruit-loop.

I dont think he is, I think he's came up with an alternative formula for Edinburgh, I think you and the other carpetbaggers, which includes people who dont actually have taxi badges getting proprietors licenses, which I always thought you and jaspar disliked (but patently not), because Dougie's idea may have merits which threaten carpetbagging.

Your personal attacks on the guys mental state dont actually bear up to much.

Jaspar has a proven track record of being a wacko.

Still you know all this.
