Sorry, I couldn't find the answer to this, either on the forum or by PM:

A couple of months ago, GBC posted details of a cheap CCTV system, c£40??

Can anyone point me towards it, please?

You need to buy the SD card seperatly.

Has it been approved by your local Council?? Your not supposed to be able to access the data on the SD card, only a certified person in authority is allowed to access the data in a secure environment.

I asked the council for advice and they said that they had no policy for CCTV so we could use what ever we wanted.

That looks like the one some of the lads here are using and there is another one but it is a little more expensive but not much, I'll try and find out which one that one is. It's been approved by the council as well but I think it's probably more out of ignorance than anything else
