i was wondering what other drivers pay in other areas for plate/car rental?

I pay £140 a week for my plate (car is owned by myself) its around £250 for car /plate, though rental prices appear to be dropping, but not by much. its a regulated area in the south cant say where

It's about £300 for car in this area, derestricted, south coast.

Put your own fuel in and, in some instances, tyres.

All else included, AFAIK.

Teesside is about £160 to £180 a week for a car all plated, drivers put their own tyres on, but all the rest is included in the rent.

Down here no-one rents just the plate, because they end up losing it to the mush that owns the vehicle.

Weekly rental for a hackney is £200-250 days, £300-350 for nights, £500 24/7.

Weekly rental for PH is £180-250 24/7.

Car rents up here range from £160 half to £265 full. To rent a datahead or radio will cost you £60-£70 per week and we get a recipt.

down in south Darzet we pay £100 wk for a radio and around £250-300 mth for a plate (hard to come by in Weymouth). Ive seen cars all in for 180week (thats keep the car, work what u like).

Birmingham, PH, 59 plate LWB VW transporter, £286/wk, thats all in as a 4 year PURCHASE. (inc vehicle, datahead, base rent, insurance but not road tax or repairs except warranty)

£59,488 total
