The E7/TW versions are ok, in my opinion, but they do have problems with doors, anti roll bars, clutch/dual mass flywheels. However the very latest models says they have improved those iffy features. Only time will tell.

The traditional London cab is very expensive, as is the new Merc (PCO spec).

Or if your council allow you could get one of those Doblo things, which bearing in mind your newness to the trade might be a good option.

Get a copy of Private Hire Monthly, and see what's on offer in there. However whatever model you choose, offer the dealer £5,000 less than they want.

If they want to sell, then don't let them fleece you.
