seems Lichfield DC wont allow the Renault to be plated due to a tipping seat issue......

Brilliant!!

Lichfield Taxi Licensing only work until 12.30hrs - every day.

Talk about part-timers.

Our licensing dept are only part time now and enforcement, which covers pubs, clubs, restaurants as well as taxis and PH is now 1 person working 17.5 hours a week. Have our licensiong costs gone down? Of course not!

Tourneos are acceptable, even though they have a tipping seat, the regs state any MPV/Minibus must have a rear door each side

a guy with a C8 had to remove the rear middle seat to comply and another has just had to bolt solid a tipping seat in a different vehicle, not sure what it is though

Any tipping seat seems affected, it seems

Dont know if its just seat backs or the whole seat-type like VW's
