Brummie cabbie what dont i get ? Anyone can go on google and print the law out ? Personally i think the sentence doesnt match the crime, thats my opinion weather you like it or not.Did any rioting or disorder come about from these two ? Or are they just two thickos.Four years

I think the judge in this case was looking at what they were trying to do. Ok so nobody turned up on this ocassion, but, imagine if they had. I think it's a bit harsh considering that others who were rioting don't apear to have been treated so badly

Their sentences were not harsh; the sentences of the others were too lenient and it's the lenient sentences that should be appealed against and not the other way round.

But they didnt plan rape and murder did they? Or are you getting carried away aswell. The only people that turned up to there party was the old bill.Lets see if uncle rupert and cousin james get the same harsh deals

Just because Rupert and Cousin James may not get the harsh sentences those two scallywags deserve, does not mitigate the crimes that 'The Facebook Two' committed.

Anderson Fernandes, 22, was warned by a judge at Manchester Magistrates' Court that he may face jail after he admitted stealing two scoops of ice cream. He will be sentenced next week.
Nicolas Robinson, 23, of Borough, south-east London, was jailed for six months for stealing a £3.50 case of water from Lidl supermarket
Mother-of-two Ursula Nevin, from Manchester, was jailed for five months for receiving a pair of shorts given to her after they had been looted from a city centre store

Again you seem to be glorifying these people.

They walked into premises that they were not entitled to be in and had been broken into or knowingly received stolen goods.

How about if a coach load of yobs travelled up to your house and every one of them helped themselves to two scoops of ice cream from your freezer after smashing through your front or back door or a window?

These arent to bad either FFS. meanwhile anyone in the white collar sector will usually get off ,very just

I don't regard that as very just; why do you?

Are you an anarchist? Perhaps a leading member of 'Anonymous'?

If I had my way I would bring back the stocks and put all scallywags, including Rupert and James in them on a Saturday afternoon in the local High Street and let those people who wanted to [excluding do-gooders, mamby-pambies and Mr Blackpool] throw eggs at the miscreants for a few hours!!!

And then get the miscreants to clean up the mess!!

wrt the "Facebook Two". as someone said on radio 2 yesterday, if a radio station played The Kaiser Chiefs "I predict a riot" and a riot occured would said radio station be held liable? Of course not. There must have been other reasons their sentences were as long as they were. Perhaps the courts will tell us at the appeal stage.

Some people actually bring up their children to respect property and other people. Are you saying that if a child does something that is wrong, they should not face the consequenses and be punished accordingly?
