You had better hope that it isn't your daughter.

And you better hope your daughter doesn't lose her job just because someone said that she did something wrong .

Had it been just one isolated complaint I would say that it was over the top but it was several complaints made to the police, THE POLICE, not the council. It may well be that the police are still investigating the complaints and a prosecution will follow in due course but in the mean time I agree that he should be stopped from working as a Hack/PH.

Convicted by the thought police. How Far can we go with this?

They obviously think he's a danger. It's a good call IMO.

Here you are criticizing the licensingw authority for stopping a potentially serious act. This decision was upheld by the magistrates so I think there was more than a suggestion that there was some truth in the allegation, just not enough to convict yet.

Innocent until PROVEN guilty is a cornerstone of our system of justice. I really don't want to live in a country where I can be punished just because someone THINKS there is a SUGGESTION of guilt.[/quote]
Give it up mate, you are(like me) trying to educate the terminally stupid.

Dumb and Dumber the problem with your system of innocent until proven guilty is that its always the innocent that end up paying the price. In this case two 13 year olds if the police hadnt stepped in. And how you can come on a public forum and try and say its wrong for him to loose his badge just speaks volumes about the 2 of yous. Maybe your L.A should check to see if yous are fit and proper because with opinions like that theres definatley something wrong

He lost his license through a legal process, a quasi judicial one at that.

He has the right to appeal to the Mags Court, and the right to work up until the hearing if agreed to by the court.

Taking his license away is a preventative measure, and a fully justifiable one if the article is correct.

Given your age I will not tell you to read the opening post again, particularly the end bit. #-o

What, this bit?
"Bolton magistrates upheld the decision of the council at the appeal hearing."

Was it the mush concerned, or another different mush?

I would imagine that most things are beyond you. Try being capable of your own thoughts for once. Read George Orwell you might learn something.Failing that just stay with the baying lynch mob were you belong.
