You really don't know how the airport works do you?
City cabs mange the airport rank. They decide who and how many get permits. Hence why city cabs asked CRT and com cabs if they wanted permits. CRT refused as it's in their rules about not sharing contracts with other taxi companies.

And even if the airport did supply the permits, why would they reduce the number allowed? That would only make meeting the obligations even more difficult!

By the 'same', I meant the "bitten them" part. The waverley had good service from City but it didn't matter. Similarly the airport has no loyalty nor respect for anybody be they City Cabs, council or even the law. They don't even care about the passengers passing through. When it suits the airport, City will be out!!

And believe me, I do know how the airport works!!
