SO with the employees now costing Uber bundles of cash and the threat of VAT being levied on all fares what will uber do ?

Their options are

1) bite the bullet and pay VAT and minimum wage which flies in the face of their operating strategy of undercutting all competition

2) Exit the taxi business and stick to deliveries

3) Subcontract all work out thus no longer being an employer

4) exit the UK (least likely)

Sussex can we do a vote on this ? I assume the facility is available

I think it's 50/50.

They have never made a bean in this country, be that from PHVs or from delivering food.

This judgement will cost them billions in extra driver costs and in VAT payments.

And a don’t care option?

I’ll go for the don’t care option.
