Must be a slow news day in Leeds - check out this page, with live updates and maps etc. Two police vehicles attended and there was a bit of traffic build up :-o

Would hardly make the news in the average small village, I suspect

I mean, check out the photos below of the damaged car. Apparently it's a front-end shunt, but if it hadn't been pointed out in the article, you'd be hard-pressed to notice any damage at all :?

In fact, after two live updates it all seems to have gone quiet, so presumably even the journo who wrote the piece got bored

'A traffic jam is said to be forming' :D

And although West Yorkshire Police were 'contacted for comment', I suspect they just ignored the request because they've got better things to do. Like sorting out a minor traffic incident

A traffic jam is said to be forming after a crash in Leeds city centre

It also looks as though it has drawn a crowd and probably the police blocking off the area whilst they deal with all that it doesn't take much to cause a traffic jam

Yes, Edders, it's 'drawn a crowd', but looks like a crowd of police officers

Apart from literally one or two other people, can't see anyone else except obvious passers-by and/or people facing away from the incident, which suggests they're not really interested :?

I suspect the only other person really interested was a journo who just happened to be in the area, hence the song and dance on the Leeds Live website :-o

Can only see one person (to the extreme right) who looks like they've formed a 'crowd'. The rest look like they're just passing by.

It's a busy road junction and a light-controlled crossing. The HC looks like it's stranded on top of it all, and no doubt there will be police and other vehicles sitting where they wouldn't normally be. So hardly a surprise there are pedestrians around who look as if they're just trying to get somewhere.

Edders, since you say you can't be bothered with stuff like basic sentence construction and punctuation, and can't be bothered reading the articles properly, in turn I can't really be bothered closely reading what you say.

But here's what you actually said earlier:

Edders wrote:

Which reads to me like you were saying that police were treating it at least partly as some sort of crowd control scenario, which I think is overegging things, to say the least.
