Im sure we all enjoy collating our inland revenue forms, going to the accoutant, paying his fees, and then dealing occassionally with the following harrasment. But of course we know that too have an NHS,Old Age pensions, and the rest of the welfare state,in reality we must all pay.Under this present GOVT the lowest earners pay more than the wealthy in reality, and i dont suppose many of us object to the Inland Revenue pursuing deliberate non payers?
Well ive just been reading about a parasite who earns £14million a year, and its calculated owes £100million,now god knows how many hospitals this would build, how many pensioners this would prevent from dying from hypothermia[36,000 last year]or how much of a wage increase this would give our hard pressed nurses. Now if you or i were told to release these details to the revenue and refused youd expect some aggravation no doubt.Has this person got any ,no of course not,and you no why?
Surely the answer is obvious, this PONCE is old jug ears himself,Charlie boy,for how much longer is this nation prepared to tolerate this disgusting parasite leaching off of us?All my members work hard in a dangerous job providing an essential service to the public, were any of them to refuse to pay their TAX repossesion, imprisonmemt, would be staring them in the face. The can be no doubt that every poster on this site in the same circumstances would get the same treatment.
Why tolerate these scum my union wants rid of them, and opinion polls indicate more and more people want RID.Dont we all agree this ponce sete a great example and has the interest of the nation and its subjects at heart?

If I could get away without paying tax then I would. I suppose it makes Charlie a bit more like the rest of us.

I disagee totally.

And as a person who profits from the tourist market, attracted by our Royal family I have to question your motivation to work in a market where you encounter people who visit this great country because of its CURRENT heritage.

Another double standard identified by a union representative's comments.

B. Royalist :D

I would adhere to the current laws of the land, and if a Labour Gov allow such an abuse, then why should I pay the full wack when others pay nothing?

Cabbie gets community service for benefit fraud

A CABBIE has been sentenced to 100 hours' community punishment for cheating Crawley Borough Council out of thousands in benefits. Faisal Shafiq, of Dione Walk, Bewbush, continued claiming benefits even though he was working as a taxi driver.

He was sentenced at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday after pleading guilty at a previous hearing to failing to notify a change in circumstances.

Leo Nwoye, prosecuting for the council, said that Shafiq had started work as a private hire driver in Redhill in April 2005, but did not tell the council that he had done so.As a result he was overpaid a total of £2,933.83. Shafiq was also ordered to pay £600 towards the council's costs. The overpayment is being repaid.

Crawley's resources director David Covill said after the hearing that the council always took a very serious view of people who obtained benefit when they were not entitled to it.

"We are committed to detecting and prosecuting people who commit benefit fraud," he said. "Any claimant whose circumstances change should contact us immediately." The council has a corporate fraud investigations team which works to prevent, detect and investigate all fraud committed against the council.

Maybe if this bloody goverment had not taken us into an illegal war we may have more money for hospitals.
Maybe if this bloody goverment threw out all the asylum seekers on benefit we may have more money for hospitals.
Maybe if this bloody goverment cut down on the amount of administators in hospitals we may have more money for hospitals.
Maybe if this bloody goverment did not waste billions on a computer system that does not work for hospitals and still pay the contractors we may have more money for hospitals.
Maybe if this bloody goverment didn't give £25 million to Zimbawbe every year in aid we may have more money for hospitals.
Shall I go on GMB?.
