High Wycombe? "yes" she said, and gave me the street name.

I'll need payment in advance, I said. £220:00, cash.

Gulp, she went, how far is it? I was told it was just out of Lincoln!

About 150 miles to High Wycombe, I told her.

Unless you mean North Hykeham, of course!

True story, happened only today, to me. LOL :lol: :lol: :wink:

£10 then, not much difference, eh?

Wonder if an East European driver would be banging south now, thinking all his birthdays had come as one?
