Taxi Driver Online

Had a right beauty one night - I was at the time working in Newport as hackney, picks this guy up and he has just come from a night out in Cardiff.

The long and short of it was,that he had found a driver to take him to Newport from Cardiff - right okay price is negotiated - a bit lower than normal, so I says to him it does not sound like a Cardiff taxi driver to me.

He says yes I think you are right, he asked me which way Newport was. A very true story.

The chances are by the time Carlisle get to Wembley £40 could be the flagfall.

That aside, I didnt pay it, and I would have got my £40's worth, I know the passenger on the way back was the worst for wear and it took him ages to get a cab.....but as a HC driver he insisted on the HC as opposed to a PH.

and in the evening i had a few drinks and would've easily got lost

You are right,I was only having a laugh.

From the City centre it is one of those fares where it is to far to walk, but nearly not far enough to get a taxi.
