Both Taylor/Thomson and comcab are desperate to open the floodgates, with expensive writs and lawers being used, can it be that comcab are financing all of this ?

Posted this same question on Fasties, still no denial !

I have it on very good authority they are getting £200,000 each to fund it, oh and that this question is the most stupidiest question this site has ever seen. ](*,)

And boy has there been some crazy ones. [-(

What does it matter who's financing it?
Whoever it is will have their own reasons, just as those defending it will have theirs.
The outcome is far more important.

But this stupid question is typical of the kind of crap to be expected from Ross.

He should be more interested in finding out who is funding Colqhoun of Central Radio Taxis - and making sure it is not ross himself and the rest of Central Radio Taxis !

After all, we already know Colqhoun is a loan defaulter !

Why is it Still Hoping that you appear to come over as a very bitter twisted person on the subject of Iain Colquhoun? Is it because you are a person who seeks to enter the sucessfull Edinburgh Cab Trade as an owner and because you were denied a free operators licence you can't? Maybe if you had been in the trade for longer you would have been able to finance your court action and not as your previous postings state" didn't have the funds."

Trade reps like Iain Colquhoun and others who are elected by their memberships to defend the interests of the 1266 licence holders didn't refuse your application, the City Of Edinburgh Council did. Iain as far as I know would welcome you to contact him direct to discuss your concerns about him, and as has been stated on this website, he is the Chairman of the most sucessfull taxi company in Edinburgh so he isn't hard to find. Or Still Hoping you could ask any of the 370+ members or 1000+ drivers of the co-operative who seem to be happy with the way their company and trade issues are being dealt with at the moment.

But I doubt you will Still Hoping, we'll soon be calling you Still Waiting.

I don't know about bitter or twisted.
But you come across as worried.

As I said you have an interest in making personal matters public and in doing so hiding behind anonymity . Do you think that anonymity stretches to your failed application in early 2005 for a Taxi Operators Licence?

I don't think so given that all applications are a matter of public record. Maybe if anyone was so minded they could access this record and all details held, names etc.

Or maybe they already have!

Who's Still Hoping now?

It is a matter of public record - nothing to hide Ross - just like the plate numbers colqhoun sold - so why not share with us the plate numbers he "supposedly" still owns?

Any idea when he is going to repay his debt to the taxi drivers of edinburgh who are members of the credit union?

It does not surprise me as you dont seem to have any idea about anything, ross.

So central members are happy at the way their chairman is shafting the members of the credit union ? - that by not repaying his debt he is stopping other more needy taxi drivers from getting the loans that they need?

And , how did he come to be a trade rep - did he lie about owning a plate/plates in order to secure this position?

Tell us, Ross?

You do know, don't you?

Trade reps like Colquhoun? has anyone ever been solicited for an opinion by this reprobate? bring them on here and let them tell us about this fanciful concept.

Successful Edinburgh Cab Trade?

It's on its erse.

Central. Members may be happy, but are the drivers? Thing is, no one knows. because no one asks them. Not even you HRB.

And, how could a cooperative allow its Chairman to be so in debt the Sheriff's Officers are calling and still conduct the business of the organisation? And the question about his eligibility to even hold the office according to the Company's rules? I note there is no damning indictment of those levelling these charges HRB.

And how is Central successful? Because it operates in a draconian manner in a restricted market?

Tell me how many of the 1000 drivers throw the system a deafie on Fridays and Saturdays?

And, isn't it widely known in the trade that Central doesn't have a bolt in the bank. Don't we all know that the company is run for the benefit of those who rip it off?

370 members? Haven't more members been added simply because of the radio dues they bring to the table. Haven't they been added irrespective of whether work levels justify it?

I sit on ranks with Central taxis in front of me. Nae hope of getting a job. The days have long gone where sitting behind a Central taxi on the rank meant that you were effectively no 1 on that rank, the certainty being that the Central taxi would pull of on radio work.

Myopic Ross gets it wrong again. Trouble with you Ross is that you are a pea brain who hasn't taken a single second to actually observe what is happening in your trade, far less your radio company. And, if you saw it, you wouldn't have the capacity to process the observatoin and reach a conclusion a five year old could to sort matters.

The devastation of our trade is down to you Ross, and the witless wonders like you who alternate burying their head in the sand with siting it between their glutimus maximus.

I vouch even the gangsters would run our trade better than you Ross. because at least they realise the need to generate profit rather than plate values.

The chap got the money from the cab union to give to Mr Taylor to cover any legal costs.

What is even funnier, Sussex - all Central Radio Taxis members pay £3 per month according to Ross for "welfare" -

that wouldn't be Colqhoun's welfare, would it ?
