Robbery charge

A Teenage traveller is alleged to have robbed a taxi driver in Bingham.

James Cassidy, of no fixed address, is charged with robbing £147 from the man on June 24.

The 18-year-old, said to be "part of the travelling community" was refused bail at Nottingham Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Cassidy, who denies the charge, will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on November 2.
