What does it matter who's paying? What your council have done and are doing
IS ILLEGAL. Soon they will cast the lot of you aside in an effort to save themselves. They owe you nothing and that is what they will leave you with.
Problem is that the numpties don't realise this.
City of Edinburgh Council is only interested in their own interests. That was maintaining their policy to allow their bus company to become the best in Britain.
Now they've got their tram system to consider. And with Labour, LibDems and the Tories all voting as a single party - what used to be considered strange bedfellows - they have rendered party politics redundant.
And, Councillors have only their own interests at heart. For most that's simply climbing up the political ladder. A pity former council leader failed to get reelected isn't it? Anyway, interests like working for the bus company or having their own private hire interests means that the interests of those who would suck up to them are of no importance whatsoever.
Which is why you're right Gusmac. The council will shecht on them in a heartbeat.
