I agree with you Jimbo, if you are driving a PH then you are quite obviously a PH driver. I was just simply explaining what happened between the driver and the policeman.I expect he was just trying to defend his corner as we all would in that situation.

And furthermore, for as long as I have been in the trade (18 years) it had been common practice for HC drivers to drive both HC and PH with the full knowledge of the town hall.It was even mentioned in our "green book" of rules and regulations that a HC licence holder could drive both.As soon as a policeman took issue with it,the town hall staff started running around like headless chickens.
