Obviously the enforcement which some people place great store on was lacking in Eastbourne. I bet a Berwick hackney would have taken these blind people.

I suppose the two Eastbourne enforcement officers must have been busy that day checking for Berwick hackneys working as private hire.

We don't have out of town hacks working Manchester. When I do see an out of town hack sat on a cab rank in Manchester I'll let you know. So far the only vehicles i've seen sat on a Manchester cab rank are licensed Manchester private hire vehicles.

We do however have a few hackneys from Trafford and Salford working Manchester private hire on the Taxiphone circuit but once your amemdments have gone through they will have to revert to back to their respective licensing authorities and pay three times the radio rent they pay are now.

I suppose thats one of the reasons why you as a radio system owner doesn't like the law as it stands? You realise that eventually you are bound to lose income from radio rent.

On Taxiphone these Trafford drivers pay just over 100 pound a month radio rent, compare that to Trafford radio circuits who charge in the region of 80 pounds a week. I'm sure some bod from Trafford will come on and give us the exact figure, failing that you could always ask your NTA buddy down there to supply the correct figures? I wonder if he's another one of your disciples who supports these amendments? I don't suppose he owns a radio circuit like you does he?
