He had four documents on his website obtained from TDO specifically formated by me. He was asked politely to acknowledge TDO as the source but he took the huff and threw his dummy out and decided to do a Mr T and delete all his posts.

He had also removed my name from one of the documents and substituted the Words to all four documents "Downloaded from Gills Taxis" passing off that he was the original source.

He said he was sent the four documents by a subscriber to TDO and that he didn't remove my initials. However he edited the documents to read Downloaded from Gills Taxis.

The four documents in question are available on the front page of TDO so why anyone on here would take the effort to send the whole documents when the links are already on our front page is highly questionable.

If anyone wants to place any documents that have been specially formated by TDO then all we ask is that you acknowledge the source.

For some reason Mr Taxis obviously doesn't want to acknowledge the source of information, that being TDO, that is his perogative.

Regards

JD

The pratt wants to grow up and stop doing what he says other do i.e. throwing his dummy out.

All the help he got from the folks on TDO in relation to his troubles in his manor and he acts the twa t.

Methinks this site is best rid of him.

So was it today he failed the DSA test then?

Perhaps that explains his overreaction. :?

I suspect many of us come across the likes of him all the time.

Still it's his loss.

I notice he also copied large parts of the links page which I spent a lot of time putting together - below are two examples - the descriptions are my own wording and he's copied them verbatim.

Not that I'm particuarly bothered, but if he's politely asked to acknowlege something but then goes off on one then that seems a bit OTT. If he wasn't happy then he could have just quietly stopped posting and no one would have noticed. Instead he's tried to destroy the discussions, and in the process done himself no credit whatsoever.

But perhaps all this explains his signature:

I have no doubt that TDO will recover from this sad loss.

I have cleaned it up as best I can, but I suspect in a little while he will be thinking to himself along the lines of what I wally he is.

It would be harsh calling him a thief, especially as everything on TDO is free.

Maybe someone can think of another name for him. :?

It would appear this guy wanted to copy the whole content of TDO without a by your leave?

I didn't realise he had also copied the whole links page word for word. I notice he had also removed the link to TDO.

Here we have a guy who came to us for advice and who we had no reservations about helping, he then places a link on his site to TDO and then removes it for some unkown reason, we then find that he has several documents from TDO which have been altered by him but which he says were sent by an unknown person from TDO.

The fact is he wanted to feed off TDO without acknowledging this website and we find that unprofessional. TDO didn't ban Mr Taxis, he banned himself. He was politely asked to acknowledge the source and his reaction is plain for all to see.

Regards

JD

I don't see the point in him doing that TDO is a useful resource why not just point people to that resource unless he wanted to make himself look cleverer than he really is in which case we are well rid of him although i suspect he'll be back under a differant name
