So they're turning a blind eye to it, then.

As is the case in Manchester, all the 'powers that be' want is for the punters to get off the street.

If that's by illegal means, then so be it.

It is exactly the same down here and there lays the problem.

They are quite prepared to trade a criminal offence to potentially stop another. When I worked in Newport Gwent they caught something like 33 drivers over a two night exercise, and nothing whatsoever happened to them  and I mean nothing.

Same happens here and the cops don't give a chit

The police in London now flag down Taxis to take home people who are really out of it. Tried to have me the other night, I wouldn't have it, threatened to report me for a refusal so I took a photo of him and the other PC holding up the drunk. Why should we have to do that?

It seems strange that with all these CCTV cameras about that can nick us for stopping where we are not supposed to such as cash machines, going for a wii. So are these touting licensed scabs invisible to the cameras and the operators of same?
Don't send me the answers cos I know it.

I have just realised. What is all this to do with petrol stations closing down?
