Unbelievable

Police were left almost speechless when they stopped a car carrying such a heavy load of bricks, the vehicle's roof had partially caved in.
The Toyota was stopped in New Barns Road, in Ely, Cambridgeshire, at the weekend.
Sharing photos of the car, police wrote on Facebook: "Can anyone spot anything right with this car? Us neither."
The driver was reported for having no insurance, dangerous driving and carrying a dangerous load.

I suppose if you are going to carry bricks on your roof, that's the quality of vehicle you should do it on.

However you have to be a very lot thick to even think about it, especially when builders merchants will deliver.

Suspect they were nicked off a site.

I was at T2 yesterday and actually took photos of this, which I was going to put up on here.

But it's now easier to put up this Mail article (if you can put up with the pop ups). :D

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... IGGER.html

There must be 1000s of suitcases, and 1000s of punters who have landed all over the planet with no luggage. #-o

Driver couldn't afford Stansted's high car park charges

A man had his car seized by police after trying to avoid paying almost £500 in airport parking fees.

Essex Police said the man attempted to drive around the barriers at Stansted Airport, but got his car stuck.

rest omitted to twist the story

Don't know if this link will work, but the article is all kinds of crazy :x

I mean, 'cleaning the ceiling'? :-&

And if it's all true, why did she let him back into her flat repeatedly? ](*,)

fatal attraction ? sometimes people are attracted to bad people look at Ghislaine Maxwell and then there are all these rapists and murderers in prison who get married to women who seem to find them attractive

Indeed, there's some strange people about. But did she just change her mind, or what? Doesn't look good for her that she effectively endorsed and enabled it, up to a point at least.

And even at the superficial level, it's maybe more the Odd Couple than Fatal Attraction. She's 25, he's 67 :-o

Although it's not even clear if they were ever any kind of item. Presumably more to it than how it reads in an article, but it makes it sound like he just popped round for chats and cups of coffee and to, er, do other stuff :x

Obviously there's more to the evidence than is reported in a newspaper. But if I was on the jury, and based on the two online reports, I'd say the case hasn't been proven beyond reasonable doubt.

I'd guess he tried it on with the woman, and made lewd remarks about the dog's, er, proclivities, as people often do about male dogs (particularly given his background in animal husbandry). But I suspect the worst of the stuff is just made up [-(
