i suppose private motorist cover would be enough, if i breakdown i can whip the plate off and cover the sticky door signs with some black parcel tape

For four of us it's £140 top cover with the AA.

I have been given to understand that the RAC - do NOT cover taxis!

Read the small print...or better still have the guy that comes out to fix tell you when he sees its a taxi. & Just noticed AA, my comments belong to RAC cover

As time has marched on, all of these recovery services are almost as one, you pay XXX recovery and it could be the AA or the RAC who turn up, or Green flag, i think the RAC got sold on?

theres a german service who are very good but they just sub the jobs out, if i have personal cover (any car) wont they have to attend? (by which time the plate and signs will be gone...lol
