so FA trophy for us away to Hitchin town (same div) wasn't expecting much but it finished Hitchin 2 daniels 3 we've finally won a cup game elsewhere kettering lost at St ives and former league club Telford united lost at Quorn so a team that's played in 6 Wembley trophy finals going out in the 3rd round qualifying to a little village team from leicestershire.

Elsewhwere not many surprises but Carlisle got a good win away at bolton so CC should be happy and the big game at London road finished posh 2 imps 0

the Amex guano dumpers play scousepool tomorrow so a sleepless night fot the VAR operators ahead of that game !

well today was very dissapointing opposition played for a draw got two players sent off but despite about 17 or 18 corners we couldn't score and then gave the ball away 10 minutes from time and gifted them an unexpected winner. Only 4 shots on target all game and their goalie saved all 4 of them ! And to top it all our reward for last saturdays win in the trophy is another away trip in the first round this time to Merseyside to play city of Liverpool FC

In fact I think Nidge was the only one whose team won today

so England beat Italy 3-1 which is as much down to the the inexperience and averageness of the Italians than anything.
